The project “Baltic Civil Defense Cooperation for Complex Emergencies” focuses on enhancing disaster resilience across Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia by addressing critical gaps in preparedness, coordination, and resource sharing.
Key Objectives
Improved Coordination: organize simulation exercises to strengthen cooperation among disaster risk management stakeholders.
Capacity Building: implement targeted training programs, including First Aid (FA) and Psychological First Aid (PFA), leveraging expertise from the Red Cross Red Crescent Network.
Resource Sharing: develop the X-STOCK platform to enhance visibility and management of emergency resources across borders.
Formalized Collaboration: create standardized protocols to enable seamless, multi-stakeholder disaster response.
