Summer is over as well as the active time of outdoor leisure, sports and cultural events. This year Latvian Red Cross’s First Aid team was very active in giving first aid in various public events – music festivals Positivus and Summer Sound, Latvian Dance and Song Festival, Cycling Marathons, Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Aglona etc.
During the summer our First Aid team helped more than 4300 people (including medical emergency for 275 people), when the total number of visitors in mentioned events were more than 256 000.
