Pursuant to procurement contract No. S-SIF-2018-13 dated 21 May 2018, procurement ID No. SIF 2018/3, “Provision of social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status”, from 1 June 2018 to 30 November 2019, the association “Latvian Red Cross” provides social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers (persons who have been resettled within the programme of the European Union resettlement programme and persons who arrived to Latvia independently) and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status.
Period of provision of services: 1 June 2018 – 30 November 2019 (18 months)
Subject: provision of social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status.
Objective: to provide socially economic inclusion process to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status to increase their social functioning abilities and integration in community.
Target audience: asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status that does not exceed 12 months after the date of obtaining this status.
Place of provision of services: Latvia
Total contractual amount: EUR 666,000.00
Social worker and social mentor service to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status is provided within the framework of the project “Facilitating Diversity” of the European Social Foundation implemented by the Society Integration Foundation (No. 9.1.4.4./16/I/001).
