2019 – 2022: Provision of social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status

On 1 December, 2019, Latvian Red Cross and Society Integration Foundation signed the procurement contract of continuation of “Provision of social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status” from 1 December, 2019 to 30 November, 2022. It stipulates that the association “Latvian Red Cross” continues to provide social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers (persons who have been resettled within the programme of the European Union resettlement programme and persons who arrived to Latvia independently) and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status.
Period of provision of services: 1 December, 2019 – 30 November, 2022
Subject: provision of social worker and social mentor services to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status.
Objective: to provide socially economic inclusion process to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status to increase their social functioning abilities and integration in community.
Target audience: asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status that does not exceed 12 months after the date of obtaining this status.
Place of provision of services: Latvia
Social worker and social mentor service to asylum seekers and persons with the status of refugee or alternative status is provided within the framework of the project “Facilitating Diversity” of the European Social Foundation implemented by the Society Integration Foundation (No. 9.1.4.4./16/I/001).
