World Refugee Day 2020: 72 hour online video with testimonials and messages from refugees around the world

On 19 – 20 June, 2020, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) Representation for Northern Europe will be screening a virtual event of a video exclusively produced for the occasion, streaming live and in a loop for 72 hours. This video will include testimonials and messages from refugees around the world, including strong refugee voices from countries in Northern Europe. This gives them the chance to tell their stories:

  • why they fled;
  • the hardships they have endured;
  • their hopes and dreams for the future;
  • how they have rebuilt their lives in their new home countries.

We invite everyone to take the chance to get to know these people! LatRC will share the hyperlink to a live video “Refugee voices from around the world” which will be streamed on UNHCR communication channels on
