Two Mexican Red Cross paramedics were killed in Ixtapaluca, Mexico, on 14 January, while carrying out their humanitarian duties in the area. It is imperative that aid workers and emergency and medical services are able to operate safely to ensure that critical assistance can be provided to all communities that rely on their support.
